Witness of time..

I've been standing her for quite sometime

Been so trusting to all who come to stay by my side

I've been scarred by others so many times

Yet I healed myself through time...

As I look down upon the young ones around me

I often wondered what I would be

Would I be as tall as the older ones and be a witness of time

Or be like the others that fell down due the harshness of life?

There are times that I think I want to give up

To give in to the blow of the wind

Yet I still stand and be one with the earth

For I chose to be one with time

And be the living witness of what we call life...
